AENIGMA Escape Room Naples was founded in 2015, among the first rooms in the city, and “locked” its doors to the public in January 2016. Over the years it has always received a positive feedback and stood out for the high approval of its players Despite a predilection, as in the best escape room games , for the thriller / horror genre, AENIGMA offers an experience able to match the variety of the told stories with the eras in which they are set, ranging from a past of remote and adventurous places to a present permeated by the paranormal and the esoteric till a disquieting and clearly dystopian future.

Each escape game is designed and built entirely by the AENIGMA team and exclusively for our escape rooms, guaranteeing attention to details and distinctiveness of the offered experience, which differ them from the numerous franchises on the market. Whether you are a cinema and video games lover or have a passion for books, you can find easter eggs placed in the rooms in honor of the classics our plots were inspired by.
Another peculiarity we are proud of is the unpredictable thread of conduct, which will be discovered in the game, that links all our rooms, despite the differences in the themes and represented eras.

In addition, the challenge of the puzzles to be solved in our escape rooms is deliberately set to a medium/high level to offer, even to the most skilled players, a long lasting and satisfying experience. How many times have you tried a room escape hoping to be able to share an hour with your friends and, instead, you escaped in less than 30 minutes without even asking for a clue? With us it has never happened that someone found the solution so quickly!

The game design of our room escape in Napoli is mainly based on the free roaming to avoid that your team is forced to rigid and predetermined tracks and that, consequently, some of its members would stop and observe without even interacting actively.
Just to make a parallelism, think about the evolution in the video games world. Once in the old arcade coin-op you had to finish a level to move on to the next one, while in the modern video games you have an entire world to explore, full of more or less accessible areas, where you can come back when you are able to unlock their secrets.

The in-game help system varies according to the chosen escape game and always maintains consistency with its theme and setting. Furthermore, the help is never given in automatic to ensure that the clues are always relevant and can’t be provided without the players' authorization. We use the technology, which aims to give the uniqueness to the experience but never distort the underlying theme.

AENIGMA is currently the only escape room in Naples that offers a 90 minutes long experience. Project Mosaico - is an immense horror escape room characterized by augmented reality, where you face disturbing presences and explore the floors and meanders of a paranormal house with even more unique system of hints in the game.

Last but not least, the escape room is an experience: although limited time is a characterizing element of every escape game, we only need it to evaluate the victory: unless there is overlapping of several groups, it will always be possible to complete your undertaking! Above all, our primary goal is to offer you an unforgettable experience
